A few key things were:
- replacing our helmet if it got cracked
- having a helmet that fits correctly and
- ABCs - air, brakes, chain and seat at the correct height
- staying about 1.5 m away from cars
- signalling
- what to do at a give way and a stop sign
- looking behind and signalling
- using your front and back brake at the same time to stop safely
- wear a vest if you can
- keep left
