Jingle Bells- Room 7

Room 7 is learning how to play Jingle Bells on the glockenspiels for their Christmas performance. Here is a video to help them practise.

Swimming

Yay. Swimming lessons have started for Room 7 and Room 5.

Today we had our School Fair. We had a fun day. We are so proud of our Year 3 stall. Thank you to all the parents who have helped us. We really appreciate it. 

Miss Nicholson's Reading Club were lucky enough to get some baking in today! We had been reading journals and readers this week which had many recipes so we thought we better get in the kitchen! We made white and milk chocolate chip bickies! YUM!!

Today we had Tessa from ASB Bank come to teach us about financial literacy. We enjoyed learning about eftpos cards and getting good deals.

Buddy time

Today some of Room 7 went to Room 16 to read them some stories. Some of Room 16 also read to the older kids!!! After the 'big buddies' had read their stories the younger children showed them their favourite classroom activity. Thank you for having us Room 16 and Miss Graham :)

Safe Cycle

Last Friday Room 7 braved the freezing cold and the rain to learn some new safe cycling skills.

We all thought it was such a fantastic day.
