Today we were very fortunate to be given the opportunity to go down to the Year 8 classrooms and view the work that they have been doing during Term 3. 

We were inspired by all their creative and clever passion projects.  We were fascinated by the robotic demonstrations and we learned many interesting things about past Olympics. 

We were impressed by their ideas for solving Queenstown's housing and transport issues in the future. 

We admired the pewter jewellery that they made with Mr Dubnick in Technology.

And we saw some great creative writing.

We can't wait to be in Year 8!

Learning to play some chords on the ukulele

It took a lot of determination to play the chords correctly!

 We  showed guardianship when we treated the ukuleles with care
