I think that your author studies are wonderful. They will inspire people to read books by different authors. You are all so clever to make a slideshow. Alaska, When I taught in Christchurch, my Year 4 class did a study on Margaret Mahy. We performed a musical item to her story - 17 Kings and 42 Elephants. She wore her wig and drew an amazing picture as she told my class a story. I remember that she stayed with us all morning and gave the children her autograph when she left. She was quite a character and I feel very privileged that she gave up her time to come and visit my class. Do you know that they have made an amazing new playground in Christchurch that they have named after her?
